The following are a snapshot of some of the activities which our members are participating in, and which CIPN as a network supports.
Awareness Raising
Members of the Cult-Informed Professional Network, Anke Richter, Caroline Ansley and Liz Gregory appeared in a news item on prime-time television , on the New Zealand 6 o'clock news, in January 2026. They described the value gained from advocates, professionals and survivors coming together to improve awareness and understanding of group coercive control.

Education
Clinical Psychologist Canterbury Forum Day
In May 2025, in partnership with Habit Health and the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists, Mark Ottley and Dr Caroline Ansley from CIPN introduced the attending clinical psychologists to cult psychology.
Arise Hikitia Nelson Event
Arise Hikitia presented "Beyond Belief - Understanding Cult Dynamics" in May 2026. Presenters were Willow Duffy, Dr Kyle Eggleton, Lindy Jacomb, and Anke Richter.
Canterbury Initiative
With the release of the new national Healthpathway on high-control group harm and support for caring for these people, Dr Caroline Ansley and Dr Kyle Eggleton hosted a national webinar to 200+ health professionals.
